Dr. Manoj Sharma is a distinguished pediatrician and neonatologist with over 18 years of extensive experience in neonatal and pediatric care. With a career spanning both military and civilian healthcare, Dr. Sharma has earned a reputation for his expertise, compassionate care, and commitment to excellence in treating newborns, infants, and children.
A Legacy of Dedication & Service
Dr. Sharma began his medical journey with an MBBS degree, followed by a DNB in Pediatrics, equipping him with in-depth knowledge and clinical proficiency in child healthcare. His passion for neonatology led him to pursue a fellowship in neonatology in Singapore, where he received advanced training in handling high-risk neonates, premature infants, and critically ill newborns.
As a Specialist Officer in the Indian Armed Forces, Dr. Sharma served with distinction, playing a crucial role in pediatric and neonatal care in military hospitals. His tenure as the Head of the Department of Pediatrics at 166 Military Hospital, Satwari provided him with hands-on experience in managing complex pediatric cases, neonatal resuscitation, and emergency care. His military background instilled in him a deep sense of discipline, precision, and responsibility, which he carries forward into his clinical practice.
After years of dedicated service to the nation, Dr. Sharma has transitioned to private practice, bringing world-class pediatric and neonatal care to the people of Jammu & Kashmir. He is currently practicing at New Life Health Care, Satwari, Jammu, where he continues to deliver expert medical care with empathy and excellence.

Dr. Sharma has contributed significantly to pediatric and neonatal research, with notable publications, including:
- “Correlation of Apgar score, cord blood pH, and lactate with severity of birth asphyxia in a tertiary care hospital: A cross-sectional observational study” – An original research article that adds valuable insights into neonatal asphyxia and perinatal care.
